Labradorite first discovered on the Isle of Paul near the Labrador Peninsula in Canada. It was founded by the Moravian missionary and bears the name from its location. Labradorite is renowned for its mirage of colours and display of Labradorescence. Its flash of colours can contain blue, green, yellow, orange, red, and even purple.
