Buttonbow is the creative work of Suzanne Hansen, a maker of hand-knotted wearable art known as Mini Macramé. Each Piece is thoughtfully crafted using traditional lace making and macramé techniques, transforming stones and crystals in to intricate, one of kind piece of Jewellery.

Every design begins with carefully sourced Stones or Crystals from around the world, perfectly paired with a waxed or polyester cords chosen to complement their natural beauty. Suz individually wraps and knots each creation by hand - a slow, detailed process that can take many hours to complete.

Inspired by Craftmanship, texture and the uniqueness of natural Materials, Buttonbow pieces are more than Jewellery - they are wearable art.

Suz Regularly attends festivals, markets and expos, where she demonstrates her knotting techniques live and shares story behind her craft. She also holds hands on workshops inviting others to discover the mindful art of macramé and create something beautiful themselves.
