• Knot Your Ordinary Jewellery

Buttonbow is the creative vision of Sunshine Coast - Based artist Suzanne Hansen, whose hand-knotted wearable art is crafted with the intention that each piece finds the person who will truly connect with it.

What began as a simple hobby has evolved into a passionate practice, with Suzanne refining her skills in Macramé to create intricate, one-of-a-kind designs. Each work features carefully sourced crystals and stones gathered from around the world, thoughtfully woven into unique pieces that blend Artisty and natural beauty.

Working from her home on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, Suzanne continues to grow Buttonbows as a cerebration of craftsmanship, individually and meaningful connection through Art made with intention.

Suz Regularly attends festivals, markets and expos, where she demonstrates her knotting techniques live and shares story behind her craft. She also holds hands on workshops inviting others to discover the mindful art of macramé and create something beautiful themselves.

Suzanne also designed a distinctive cross pendant for legendary Australian music artist Kasey Chambers and her daughter Poet. The pendant's was affectionately named Dragonfly and Goldwing by Kasey and her daughter, Poet, and has become one of Suzanne's most meaningful designs.

Renowned guitarist and singer-songwriter Kathleen Halloran wore Suzanne's striking Showstopper Choker throughout her debut concert tour and while touring with KT Tunstall. The choker was named after one of Kathleen's original songs, making it a truly personal collaboration between artist and designer.
